Mac OS 8/9 Users

In general, it is recommended that Mac users upgrade to OS X to gain the fastest and most consistent performance from the Java applets that Marsoweb uses.

However, for users of Mac OS 8/9, Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator v7 will provide better performance and enable a more thorough featureset than Netscape Communicator v4.x.

Users of Netscape Communicator v6 should upgrade to v7.

Mac OS X Users

All of Marsoweb's featureset should be available to users of Netscape Communicator v7, and Internet Explorer v5.

Marsoweb relies heavily on Java applets for data interaction, and currently, there are problems with these in Opera and Safari. Camino works for the most part, except for data querying. Note that this has not been tested yet using Safari under Panther (OS 10.3), which may have addressed many of the problems.

Other browsers may work but have not been tested.
