Re: Center Ellipse Locations in MOLA Reference Frame

There has been a request from the project to have the landing site center locations under consideration reported in the MOLA reference frame (planetocentric, positive east). Below are the center points of the ellipses in the MOLA frame measured by two methods. We believe that they are accurate to the MOLA frame within ± 0.01-0.02 degrees latitude and longitude, which should be sufficient until more accurate cartographic maps are made of the sites. Ellipse sizes are as reported in memos dated April 30, 2001 and July 16, 2001.
